How I think about software
Architecture before code.
Every system I build starts with boundaries, data flow, and failure modes — not frameworks. Good architecture makes the code obvious.
AI is an engineering discipline.
Prompts, retrieval, evals, and cost control deserve the same rigor as databases and APIs. Demos are easy; production AI is engineering.
Simple scales. Clever doesn't.
The best systems are the ones a new engineer can understand in an afternoon and extend without fear.
Always be learning.
Technology compounds. I explore emerging tools relentlessly, keep what survives contact with production, and share what I learn.
I don't build software just to make applications work. I build software that is scalable, maintainable, intelligent, and designed for real-world impact.
